Spend two weeks making art about our changing climate.
As an affiliate event of Asheville Collider’s Climate Con, AS IF Center will host an art-science residency focusing on climate change. This mini-residency will take place from March 11-25, 2018 and will include free lodging, studio space, field science work space, and some art supplies and science supplies. Artists may apply for the residency by December 31, 2017 and will be notified by January 15, 2018. To apply, download the AS IF Center – Application for Residency and email it and the required attachments, along with an additional 300 words describing how you will use climate science in your art. You are encouraged to work closely with a scientist or scientists at NCEI.
